Our Recycling Mission

Building a sustainable future for printing equipment, one device at a time

Printer Recyclers warehouse team

Our Story

From a Small Garage to Industry Leaders

Printer Recyclers began in 2012 when our founder, James Thornton, noticed a massive problem in his community—businesses were discarding perfectly functional printing equipment simply because they were upgrading to newer models. These devices ended up in landfills or storage units, wasting both money and resources.

What started as a weekend project buying and reselling a few copiers has grown into one of Utah's most trusted printing equipment lifecycle management companies. We've processed over 12,500 devices and built lasting relationships with hundreds of businesses across the region.

Today, Printer Recyclers stands at the intersection of environmental responsibility and business pragmatism. We prove that sustainable practices can be economically beneficial—it's not either/or, it's both.
